Alouette

“Alouette” is another classic French children’s song.  The song is about the lark (the type of bird seen in the picture below) who is unfortunately having feathers plucked from different parts of her body.

This song is great because it has lots of repetition and students can practice the parts of the body.

There are a few different versions of the song.  Check out these two from YouTube.  They both have lyrics at the bottom (karaoke style), so you can sing along.  This is great reading practice too!
